At our Friday morning breakfast meeting, Louisa Horne made a motion that our club recommend our very own Doug Logan to be considered for this director role. This motion was overwhelmingly adopted!
As many of you know, our club exists in District 7815, which is in Zone 28. There are 34 Zones worldwide, and our Zone shares a Rotary International director with Zone 32. As we share our director, we alternate between the two zones. Being a director is more than just sitting on the RI board. They oversee and coordinate many areas are the Zone level. It is our Zone's turn to nominate a director. Every club has an opportunity to nominate a candidate who they feel would be an excellent director.
