The Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour is pleased to honour Wadih Fares with a Paul Harris Fellowship.
Wadih Fares exemplifies entrepreneurial spirit and community service. Most folks know of Wadih's story, escaping the civil war in Lebanon as a teenager, he settled in Nova Scotia, learned English, graduated from university, and founded his own company.
For as long as Wadih has been developing the buildings in which people live and work, he has worked to develop the communities united within them and he participates on high profile boards and committees volunteering his time and talent.
His love for this community, his empathy for those struggling, his determination to use his vast and impressive network to help others are all indicative of a man that lives the Rotary mission of service to others.
