The Maritime Cup is more than a sailing regatta—it's a celebration of inclusion, determination, and the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the freedom of being on the water.
Making Sailing Accessible
Sail Able Nova Scotia is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to making the sport of sailing accessible to people with physical disabilities. Using specially adapted sailboats and experienced volunteers, Sail Able removes barriers and creates opportunities for sailors of all abilities to learn, compete, and enjoy the incredible experience of sailing.
Throughout the weekend, sailors from across Atlantic Canada will come together to compete, build friendships, and demonstrate the remarkable skill and determination that define this event.
Rotary's Commitment
As presenting sponsor, the Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour is proud to help make this event possible. Our sponsorship supports the operation of the regatta while also helping reduce travel and registration costs for participating athletes.
Our support extends beyond financial contributions. Throughout the weekend, Rotarians will be on-site helping launch and retrieve boats, assisting with event logistics, and hosting the Saturday evening barbecue for competitors, volunteers, and supporters.
