Third-party, non-Rotary opportunity.
As many of you know, Halifax will host SailGP this spring on the Halifax Waterfront. While the event will be held over two days, the event organization will have a presence in the city for nearly a month to prepare. With that comes the opportunity for youth to take part in an internship program that they have created where students and young professionals (18+) work alongside the permanent staff that travel the world putting on the event. Attached is information that may highlight opportunities for someone personally close to you, or within your work.
While some of the roles are specific to sailing/boatbuilding, others have more general applications to the events industry as well as media and communications.
