At our Friday morning meeting, our Club President Jillian Gibson awarded Paul Harris Fellows to two of our club members, Ashley Butt and Pat Garrison, for their generous contributions to the Rotary Foundation. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges people who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to the foundation.
When you give to the Rotary Foundation, your contribution is recognized. Members can become Paul Harris Fellows after giving a cumulative $1,000 USD to the foundation, and Paul Harris Society Members when they give $1,000 USD annually. There are also recognitions for giving every year and giving to the Polio Fund. The club also gets recognition for the giving of its members.
