The Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour is pleased to honour John Paynter with a Paul Harris Fellowship.
While selling cars may be John’s former job, his joy in life is people and his work within the community is legendary. With a huge heart and an incredible amount of energy, John has spent his life solving problems, providing connections, utilizing his vast network to help anyone in need and being innovative and creative in his dealings.
A past Rotarian John lives the Service Above Self motto and makes every encounter meaningful and memorable. His work with a myriad of nonprofits is proof of his commitment to enhancing community life wherever he is able. The Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour is honoured to recognize John Paynter as an outstanding member of our community and offer this Paul Harris Fellowship.
