Rotary Halifax Harbour has introduced RCHH Connect, a new communication tool designed to help us share club news, events, reminders, and stories more consistently.
RCHH Connect brings information from across the club together in one place, making it easier for our Public Image Team to prepare newsletters, social media posts, member emails, text messages, and other updates. By reducing duplicated work and helping us keep track of what is happening, the tool will allow important information to reach members and the public more quickly.
One of its most exciting features is its connection to our new automatic meeting transcription system. The system can identify potential announcements, reminders, and story ideas discussed during our meetings. This means members can continue sharing updates during meetings, knowing that our communications team has a better way to capture and follow up on them.
We still need your photos and updates
Technology can help us organize information, but it cannot replace the stories, details, and photographs provided by our members.
If you are involved in a club project, attending a Rotary event, recognizing a member, or have news worth sharing, please send your update and photographs to updates@rotaryhalifaxharbour.ca.
Please send updates to this shared address instead of sending them to an individual member of the Public Image Team. Messages sent to one person may be delayed if that person is busy, travelling, or unavailable. Using updates@rotaryhalifaxharbour.ca ensures the entire team can see your submission and help share it through the appropriate channels.
When submitting an update, please include:
- A brief description of what happened or what is coming up
- The names of the people involved
- Relevant dates, times, locations, and links
- One or more photographs, if available
- The photographer’s name or photo credit, when applicable
Stay informed with Rotary Ping and Catchup
Members and friends of the club are also encouraged to sign up for Rotary Ping and our revived Catchup newsletter at connect.rchh.ca.
Rotary Ping provides timely reminders about upcoming meetings, events, and other important club activities. Catchup brings together club news, announcements, upcoming opportunities, and highlights you may have missed.
