Microfinance and Its Impact: Exploring Kiva at Rotary
Microfinance and Its Impact: Exploring Kiva at Rotary

Join us this Friday morning as our very own member, Danielle Lemieux, shares insights into the impactful world of Kiva. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how we can contribute to global change through microfinance.

Kiva is an innovative platform that allows people to lend as little as $25 to help fund entrepreneurs and students across the globe. Through Kiva, lenders support others in achieving their dreams, whether it's starting a business, accessing education, or improving their community. The platform collaborates with local partners to ensure loans are used effectively, making a real difference in combating poverty and fostering economic growth.

Danielle will explore how Kiva's microloans empower individuals and uplift communities. She will discuss the significant effects these loans have had worldwide and how Rotary members can get involved to maximize their impact. The session will provide valuable knowledge for both seasoned supporters of microfinance and those new to the concept.

We encourage guests and visitors to join us either in-person or online. For more information on attending the meeting, please visit our Friday Morning Meeting Information page. For any inquiries, email us directly at info@rotaryhalifaxharbour.ca.
