Geof Porter
Occupation: Surgeon
Geof brings a wealth of experience in medicine, leadership, and service. Originally from Ottawa, he completed his training at Queen’s University and the University of Alberta, with advanced fellowships in Houston.
He and his wife Lori—both physicians—have called Halifax home for over 20 years. Now semi-retired, Geof has shifted his focus to volunteer work, including international surgical missions to Cambodia and local community service through Mission Mart and Shelter Movers NS.
Geof is eager to stay active in meaningful ways and sees Rotary as a natural fit for his passion for hands-on service.
Celena Collins
Occupation: Food & Finance Industry Professional
Celena is a community-minded professional with an impressive background spanning both the food industry and financial services. Born in Jamaica and raised in Bermuda, she brings a strong belief in the power of connection and exceptional customer service.
Celena is a proud mom and “Glam-mother” who radiates warmth and gratitude. She’s energized by the opportunity to give back and is excited to contribute to a network of people who turn compassion into action.
