On Friday we inducted two new members, Doug Harris and Yemi Olaniyi. Welcome to Rotary Halifax Harbour!

Doug Harris
I spent most of my life and career in Toronto before moving to Halifax in late 2020. In my career, I have worked for a law firm, as a law professor and as a capital markets regulator. I now work for the Nova Scotia Securities Commission. I have served on the Board of a youth mental health organization in Toronto since 2017, and would like to find ways through Rotary to meet people who are similarly involved in the Halifax community.
Yemi Olaniyi
I work with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as a Relationship Manager in the Halifax Business Markets. I’m a family man with background in Nigeria. I relocated with my family to Halifax NS in 2021. In Nigeria, I had 20 years of career experience across banking, project management, and business consulting. In my volunteer experience in Canada, I have been engaged in the tech sector, church, and I currently serve as Director on the board of Project Management Institute, Nova Scotia Chapter.
