Today we had the pleasure of hearing our fellow member, Ken Geddes, speak about his life, growing up in Dartmouth and getting into the Radio Industry.
Ken Geddes grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Ken started in the radio business as an announcer 28 years ago. After a 7 year break from the radio business, he joined Newcap Radio in 2007, reigniting his passion for radio. Ken is currently with Q104 & 96.5 Kool FM as General Sales Manager.
Besides Rotary, Ken is heavily involved in Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters (matched with Little Brother, Braeden for 7 years now.)
Ken is a true leader in our community.
The 50/50 draw went to Hilary's ticket and some how she pulled the Ace of Spades! Lucky for her the pot had grown to $700!!! What a good surprise before christmas too!
