Ah, tax season: that magical time of year when the thrill of sorting through piles of paperwork could rival the excitement of finding a forgotten $20 in your pocket! For those who get a buzz from balancing the books, it's a joyous time of year. And for those among us who contributed to the Rotary Foundation in 2023, here's a perk: those donations are as tax-deductible as a business lunch with a client who orders the lobster!
Not a Rotary Foundation or Charitable Trust donor? Well, it's never too late to join the party! Donating to the Foundation or the Trust isn't just a noble way to support vital causes; it's also a savvy move to sweeten your tax situation. To learn more and to give, click here.
Now, for the organization enthusiasts who file receipts like they're preparing for an archive exhibit, you're probably all set. But if you're more the 'creative chaos' type, fear not! We've whipped up a nifty guide to search through the caverns of your email and unearth those precious tax receipts, ensuring not a single one slips through the cracks.
Ready to embark on the great tax receipt treasure hunt? Here's your map: Set your email search bar's sights on messages from trf.canada@rotary.org — the trusty digital postman for the Rotary Foundation (Canada)'s tax receipts. With a quick search and download/print maneuver, you'll be swimming in tax receipt glory. And for the adventurous, try casting your net with "donation recipes" to snag receipts from other charitable escapades.

But what if you suspect a receipt has gone AWOL? No need to send out a search party just yet. Follow these breadcrumbs:
- Navigate to https://map.rotary.org/en/securememberservices/Pages/ContribReport.aspx.
- Log in with your Rotary International credentials (no, it's not the same as your ClubRunner login).
- Click on the 'Donor History Report' to unveil your complete donation history.
- Peek under the 'Transaction Detail' tab at the bottom for a play-by-play of your philanthropic exploits (in USD, because why make it simple?). Your email receipts will be in CND. If your email receipts and this report don't match up like socks from the dryer, it's time to call in the cavalry at the Rotary Support Center by phone (+1-866-976-8279) or shoot an SOS to rotarysupportcenter@rotary.org.

And there you have it, fellow Rotarians and tax-season warriors. May your receipts be plentiful and your deductions bountiful!
