Where the Hampers Are Going
This year’s hampers will be delivered to the following organizations and communities:
- Adsum House: 12 hampers
- Elizabeth Fry Mainland Nova Scotia: 18 hampers
- North End Regional Community (Uniacke Square): 30 hampers
- Parker Street Food: 20 hampers
- Spryfield Community: 20 hampers
Each hamper contains carefully selected food items to ensure recipients can enjoy a festive and nourishing holiday meal.
Packing and Distribution
The hampers will be packed on Friday, December 20, and distributed on Saturday, December 21, from the Tradewinds Room, generously provided by the Westin Nova Scotian.
Volunteers are essential for both packing and distribution days. However, to ensure smooth coordination and avoid overcrowding, members are strongly encouraged to contact Bob Power in advance if they wish to volunteer. Please do not show up without checking with Bob first, as precise planning is critical for the success of this large-scale effort.
We’re also thrilled to have a happy and eager driver from Rogers who has volunteered to help with deliveries on Saturday—and is even willing to wear a Santa suit (if anyone has one to lend)!
How You Can Help
Members are reminded to coordinate with Bob Power before purchasing any items for the hampers to ensure consistency and organization.
