Today's meeting was held at the Comfort Inn, Bayers Lake. Our Club inducted one new member, and our special guest spoke about a truly inspirational children's education project in Kiritu, Kenya.

Our special guest for today was Dr Jamie Metsala, professor at mt St Vincent University here in Halifax. Her presentation was about the Muungano - Partners for Education in Africa project. Muungano, translated from Swahili, means "union" or "alliance" or, We Are All Together.
