Happy New Rotary Year!
Happy New Year! What a busy day to start the new Rotary year... we began with the Installation of the new officers – President Louisa and Treasurer Vivienne were installed by ADG Clarke. New Directors Andrew and Bonnie also received their pins. VP Adam, Secretary Sharon and Directors Adrienne and Gayle will receive their pins at a later time. Louisa’s first act as President was a very happy one – the induction of Hilary as a new member.

What a great way to start the year – our membership goal is for 40 members – we are at 32 ... 80% there! Louisa then provided an overview of the work of the various committees in creating plans for the year.
Barb provided some extra excitement by performing a “club cheer”! The Club agreed to try an innovation idea – meeting once each month in the afternoon – the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in a location to be determined. The Club also voted to contribute $1000 to the fund raising effort to bring Carlos from the DR who worked with the local Rotarians – he hopes to come to MSVU to study in the fall. We are off to a great start to the new year.
