We were honoured to host seven visiting Rotarians from Texas as they began the first of four legs of their Rotary Friendship Exchange to Nova Scotia.

During their three days with us, we kept them wonderfully busy! Their visit included: attending RC Dartmouth’s weekly meeting; sailing on the tall ship MV Silva; exploring the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic; dining at McKelvie’s; touring the Shearwater Aviation Museum; taking a vintage double-decker bus tour of Halifax; walking the Fairview Lawn (Titanic) Cemetery; visiting the Dartmouth Rotary Bandstand; enjoying a salmon BBQ; and, of course, a trip to Peggy’s Cove.

After a full and memorable stay, we passed the group along to our friends in the Rotary clubs of Lunenburg, Yarmouth, and New Minas for the next legs of their exchange.
