Cost: A $5 fee will be charged per member to their ClubRunner accounts for in-person attendance. Joining via Zoom is free.
Invitation: All members are encouraged to attend this engaging club assembly and social event. Assemblies offer a platform to discuss our club's vision and strategize for the future, focusing more on long-term goals than on daily operations. Assemblies are also a great opportunity for potential members to learn about our club.
Agenda: The focus of this assembly will be implementing our strategic plan. There will also be opportunities to cover other topics.
Location: The assembly will take place at the Halifax Central Library in the BMO Community Room, located on the second floor, and will also be accessible via Zoom.
Food and Drink: Members are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. For your convenience, the Ampersand Cafe is located on-site, and the BMO Community Room has a kitchenette.
Clean-up: Post-assembly, members are kindly asked to assist in tidying the room.
Transportation: In line with our commitment to sustainability, we encourage carpooling or using public transit. Halifax transit routes 1, 8, 9, and 10 serve the library area.
Parking: Street parking is limited. The library offers on-site paid parking at $2/hour, with a daily maximum of $20. Payment options include debit, VISA, MasterCard, and cash.
Social Event: A social gathering will follow the assembly. Details to be determined.
