Every year (ok, outside of pandemics), Halifax has hosted a youth exchange weekend where the outbound and inbound Rotary Youth Exchange students get together for a fun and educational weekend. This year, it will include a Mooseheads game, Global Citizenship training, and cultural competency training, among other TBD things.

To make this weekend possible, we need your help.

There are several ways you can assist. This year, we hope to billet students (in country/continent groupings). There are approximately 20 students we need to accommodate. So if you can take at least two students, please email Alida directly to let her know. (amcampbell7@gmail.com). Alida would also really appreciate it if people might be able to give rides to all the students. We don't know exactly the schedule yet, but Halifax is big, and there will be times when rides are necessary.

Also, if you have ideas on fun social gatherings for large groups, we are all ears for them. The Mooseheads play on Thursday night, and we'll have a potluck open to all Rotarians one night, so we have one night to fill.

That's it for now. If anyone wants to help out or can help out in any way, please let Alida know. She'll be your point of contact for the weekend. Thanks so much in advance, everyone!
