Joan’s Plate – Fellowship & Meal Prep Day

Joan’s Table is a volunteer-run initiative in Halifax that offers regular meals to people who have previously experienced long-term homelessness at two locations (North End and Herring Cove). We will be gathering to prepare a meal at Mike Gibson's home at 1:30 to have it delivered by 5-5:30 to the Herring Cove location. The menu will consist of Steamed Chicken (known as stew chicken in other parts of the Caribbean region), Bahamian Peas n Rice, Cole Slaw and Mixed Veg. Desserts are welcomed as well.
