Join us Monday, October 20 at Celtic Corner Public House in Dartmouth anytime from 11 AM until kitchen close for Pints for Polio — a fun, community-driven event that turns good food and great company into global impact.
What’s on tap:
🍔 $25 gets you a burger trio or veggie burger with fries and a Moosehead beer — and $5 from every meal goes to support Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign. Thanks to matching funds from generous global partners, that $5 turns into $15 to help end polio for good.
🍺 Every extra Moosehead beer adds another $1 for polio, which becomes $3 after matching.
🎟️ There’ll also be a 50/50 draw and silent auction, so come hungry, thirsty, and ready to have fun!
Whether you stop in for lunch, second lunch, early dinner, or late dinner, you’ll be helping Rotary clubs across HRM work together toward a world free of polio.

Rotary’s Global Fight to End Polio
Rotary International has been leading the charge to eradicate polio since 1985. Through the End Polio Now campaign, Rotary and its partners have immunized over 2.5 billion children in 122 countries, reducing polio cases by more than 99.9% worldwide.
Rotary works alongside the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as part of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI).
Every dollar raised by Rotary is tripled by the Gates Foundation — turning small local actions, like enjoying a pint with friends, into life-changing global impact.
When a child is vaccinated, their finger is marked with purple ink — a small sign of protection and hope. That’s why we like to say we’re “giving polio the finger” 💜
