Bill is the past-President of CARP Nova Scotia. "CARP is a national, non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to a “New Vision of Aging for Canada” promoting social change that will bring financial security, equitable access to health care and freedom from discrimination; Our mandate is to promote and protect the interest, rights and quality of life for Canadians as we age."
Bill is also the founder of Nordic Walking Nova Scotia, which offers Nordic Walking beginner and intermediate clinics, and Instructor Certification Courses. He is a distributor of Nordic Walking Poles for industry-leader Nordixx Pole Walking Canada.
